Wow! This is one heck of a place. Owned by an awesome dude, so nice! Very funny guy, and Mediterranean Eatery food is just perfect. I would recommend the tomato soup & pita, the soup is creamy (and has little bits of cheese!) and the pita is warm and soft, everything a fresh pita should be. 11/5 stars!!
I had a wonderful time at your restaurant in Roosevelt Island. The food was delicious and the service was great. I will definitely come back next time I am in the area.
Fresh and really tasty. We tried the kofta rice bowl and 3 hummus bowls (shawarma, eggplant, and falafel). Everything was good. The falafels were freshly made and were some of the best we've ever tasted. The shawarma was juicy and spiced well. The hummus was fantastic. And they make their pitas fresh!!! Like right there on the spot! Amazing! Great option for the Island !!! Their menu is always evolving!!! So great to see this place grow with the community
In a neighborhood with limited dining options, this establishment stands out as a refreshing choice. I believe it offers one of the finest falafel pita sandwiches I've encountered in New York City. The staff members are consistently courteous and attentive to customers, which adds to the positive experience. The combination of a clean environment, fresh ingredients, delicious food, and friendly service contributes to its success and makes it well worth a visit.

This place is organically one of the highest rated, which piqued my interest and I took the trip. If you’ve never been to RI, ME should make your trip worth it. I’ve had a lot of Mediterranean and Levantine food and this is simply one of the, if not the, best. The place is clean, the ingredients and resulting dish is fresh, and there’s the warmth of handmade food in every bite. As the owner said “the secret ingredient is love” They also have a section in the corner where something fresh is baked daily (when I went it was the brioche bread - see picture) This is the kind of place you should support to raise the standard of other restaurant offerings in and around the city. If you’re considering going, this is your sign, yes make the trip, this IS 100% worth it.
Have tried more than few things here, and loved every single one! These guys offer the best food on the whole island, and one of the best Mediterranean dishes in the whole NYC! Also, do not forget to try their refreshing lemonade with fresh mint! Sooo good! The staff are very nice and efficient. So happy for having this food option in the island.
